Wow what amazing writing you have all done this week. I especially loved the pictures of your aliens and your superhero writing. It was great to see all of the super powers you would have if you could choose. It was also lovely to hear about how lots of you have your own super hero parents at home working hard at the moment.
Wow you have all really impressed me again this week with some more fantastic writing being shared. Thank you so much. I loved hearing about your adventures on a magic carpet and the trouble a girl would have if she had a pet dragon. Here are some of your friends ideas.
Wow what amazing writing we have had this week. I love all of the stories and explanations you have come up with they have really made me laugh. I am so impressed. Here are a few that made me smile.
This week we have had fun looking at the story Elmer. The children explored mixing the primary colours to paint their own elephant for our Elmers parade. We also spent time looking at patterns. The children impressed me with their knowledge of repeating patterns. Later in the week we made our own story map of Elmer and the children wrote the key parts of the story. Jospeh amazed us with his inpedendnt writing. Well done everyone!
Today we have enjoyed looking at the royal wedding. The children have been designing dresses, telling me about weddings they have been to and even having their own weddings in class! We can’t wait for the wedding tomorrow!
This week we have been looking at silly sentences. The children enjoyed reading them and sorting them into silly and sensible sentences. They then had a go at making their own.
This week the children have been busy writing letters to Santa. We have thought about what we want for Christmas and what a good letter looks like. We even had a very special visitor sneak into our class and deliver us our own letter! A very exciting week.
